Update

Well what is new with the Ningcharoen Family? Well Yai started working from home which has been really nice. I get to see him all the time. My Niece had her baby shower today which was fun. Her baby boy is due next month and I can't wait to meet him. My sister in-law and brother in-law are up visiting with their family which is great. Yai and my brother in-law took all the kids to the pool to go swimming and my sister in-law and I stayed home and watched TV and just relaxed. Then tonight my husband cooked a primerib dinner and seasoned and seared it like Outback Steakhouse (he used to work there when he was in college) only Yai's tasted better. Now the kids are all in bed and asleep and the adults are watching The Bucket List (a movie the is definately worth watching more than once).

That's all that is new with us this week. Hope all is well with all of you.

Food

Not too much has gone on this past week. Our neighbor had her 2nd birthday and we went over for her party. The kids had fun with the activity and we had pizza from Costco. I discovered Avery loves pizza. I could not get it in her mouth fast enough. So for now Avery's favorite food is pizza. She's ten months old and still no teeth, she just has to gum it. She has a bump on her bottom gums and if you look really close you can kind of see a tooth, but it's way down there. Maybe she'll have a tooth before she turns one!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy 2009 everyone!!! Well we kicked off the New Year in our old and boring way :) We put the kids to bed around 8:00 and then we watched a movie and drank hot chocolate until midnight, said "Happy New Year!" and then we went to bed. We started a new tradition for our family this year. Every other week one of the kids gets to go on a date with mommy or daddy. I think it is important to spend one on one time with each child and parent so that we can build a strong relationship with our children. I want them to be able to always talk to us and tell us what is going on in their lives (even when they are teenagers) I feel that in this day in age kids don't communicate with their parents and it seems that parents are too busy to listen so we are setting time aside to be with our children.

On Saturday it was David's turn to go out with his daddy. They went and got their haircut and then they went to IHOP for lunch. David came home and all he could talk about was he got his haircut with daddy and he ate pancakes with strawberries and cream and he had ice cream too. I'm so glad that it turned out so well. Next week is Jaylin and my turn to go out. I'm so excited for this new tradition.

Happy New Year!!!
