Park City Fun with Cousins!

We went to Park City in March around Avery's birthday to go tubing. Unfortunately it was raining and the snow was all slushy, not good for tubing so they told us we could hang out and play in the snow for free! We went with Yai's sister and her family. The kids had so much fun playing in the snow with their cousins from St. George. This is a picture overload post :)

We had a lot of snow and the girls decided they wanted to build a snowman. They used M&M's for the eyes and nose, Taffy pieces for the mouth, and Mini Marshmellows for the buttons.

Avery's 3rd Birthday!!!

Avery turned 3 in March, I know I'm just a little behind :) I made her a white sprinkle cake with pink strawberry frosting and put princess toys on the cake for her birthday. Sorry we forgot to take pictures of her blowing out the candles. She got a couple presents from us and a card with $5 in it from Nanny (my mom). Avery wanted to go to Mc Donald's for her birthday dinner so we let the kids play on their playground for a while then we had dinner and ice cream cones. When we got home we sang to Avery and had some cake, the kids took a bath and went to bed. Happy Birthday Avery!!!

It's Snow White!

Jaylin is 5!!!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful princess Jaylin. She turned 5 in January. I can't believe how big and grown up she is. She wanted french toast for her birthday breakfast so daddy got up early to make it for her and the rest of the family. Jaylin was so surprised when she came downstairs and saw her brand new princess bike that she had been wanting since her 4th birthday. She also got a birthday card from Nanny (Ashley's mom) and it had a princess crown in it that she couldn't wait to wear. This year Jaylin wanted to go to Trafalga for her birthday, they have rides and a rock climbing wall, put put golf, and laser tag. It was a lot of fun. She had a lot of her friends come to celebrate with her and of course it was princess themed so I went all out on her cake and ordered a special disney princess cake that she loved!!! Christmas 2010

I know this post is way past due. This Christmas was a lot of fun for our family. My parents stayed with us this Christmas which made it extra special. I think they had a lot of fun watching the kids open all their presents and enjoyed opening a few surprise presents themselves. We had a ward Christmas party with hot chocolate and lots of desserts. We went to my sisters house on Christmas Eve for our family annual Christmas party and ate great food, read the Christmas Story, sang songs, and ... Santa came with presents for the little kids. When we got home the "elves" had brought early presents to us, they were jammies for everyone. David was trying to figure out how the elves got to our house to bring the jammies. It was really cool, he was so into the "Magic" of Christmas this year. We had a buffet to munch on all day, watched movies, played games and just hung out together as a family.

Trick or Treat!!!

Sorry this post is so far behind. We had a lot of fun this year for Halloween. First everyone got their own little pumpkins to gut out and carve. We had our ward Halloween Party and ate some good chili and the kids went trick or treating around the cultral hall. Then we went with our friends to the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake to trick or treat around the stores and then the Kids Museum at the Gateway had a fun full day of Halloween activities for the kids so we stopped over there for a few hours. And of course trick or treating around our neighborhood. Can I just say the kids got a ton of candy this year. It was a lot of fun.
