Christmas 2012
This year we had our annual Gordon Family Christmas Eve party at my sister Lesley's house. It was so fun to see everyone and the new babies that were born this year in our family. Santa came to the party and gave out presents to the kids which made it extra fun. After the party we came home and guess what? The elves had already been to our house! There were 4 presents in our Christmas tree. Jaylin got a new robe, and the other kids all got new jammies. Christmas morning we made breakfast and then it was present time! Presents took about an hour to open this year because we decided to put codes on the presents like Batman, Shrek, Barbie, etc. We had the kids guess which one they thought was theirs, if they got it right they could open it or they had to search the pile for a certain name and once they found that one they could open it. The kids loved it so I think we will do this every year so Christmas lasts a little longer :)

Camping 2011
We went on our first family camping trip. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. We went with Yai's sister, her family, her husband's brother's family, and their friend's family. We went to Beaver Mountain for the 4th of July weekend. We went on a 10 mile hike over two mountain tops with no trail and my toes got bruised so bad. I didn't have the right kind of shoes for hiking. We took the kids fishing and they did great. Jaylin wasn't afraid of the fish at all and thought it was really squishy. David on the other hand didn't even want to touch it. We roasted marshmallows of course and ate great food, and just had a great time enjoying each others company. Sorry for the picture overload.
The Ningcharoen kids and their cousins all squished in the van to drive up to the start of our 10 mile hike.

First Day of 2nd Grade 2011
David had his first day of 2nd Grade at Snow Springs Elementary. He has a great teacher this year, her name is Mrs. Morse. David requested strawberry milk, orange roll, and studel for his special breakfast. Can't believe he's in 2nd grade already.

Yai and David's First Father & Sons'
David and Yai had their first ever Father & Son's camp out with our ward in June. Our wonderful neighbors let them borrow their camping gear. Of course David loved it and has been talking about it for days. Now it looks like we will have to buy our own camping gear so we can do this as a family, since the girls have been wanting to try camping. I'm glad Yai and David were able to have such a great time and awesome bonding and a father and son.

David's Sleepover
David has been having sleepovers with his friend Jace for over a year now, and they can never wait to have another one. This time I just happened to have my camera and took some pictures. It was Jace's turn to sleep over at our house and the boys had a blast. They played games with the girls, and then of course David and Jace had to play the Wii and watch Mario movies all night. They even got to sleep in the family room by themselves. I'm so glad these boys are such good friends.

Utah State Tae Kwon Do Championships 2011
David competed in the Utah State Tae Kwon Do Championships back in April and did amazing. He's a Senior Blue Belt and competed in Forms and Sparring. This tournament in a qualifying tournament to compete at Nationals, which David qualified for. David won his sparring match by a landslide of points. He did great! Unfortunately we did not go to San Jose, California this summer which is where Jr. Olympics/Nationals was held.
