Christmas 2012
This year we had our annual Gordon Family Christmas Eve party at my sister Lesley's house. It was so fun to see everyone and the new babies that were born this year in our family. Santa came to the party and gave out presents to the kids which made it extra fun. After the party we came home and guess what? The elves had already been to our house! There were 4 presents in our Christmas tree. Jaylin got a new robe, and the other kids all got new jammies. Christmas morning we made breakfast and then it was present time! Presents took about an hour to open this year because we decided to put codes on the presents like Batman, Shrek, Barbie, etc. We had the kids guess which one they thought was theirs, if they got it right they could open it or they had to search the pile for a certain name and once they found that one they could open it. The kids loved it so I think we will do this every year so Christmas lasts a little longer :)

Jaylin Lost Her First Tooth!!!
Jaylin lost her first tooth in June 2011. I think she bumped it on something and kept play with it until it was so loose we had to pull it. It was her front tooth as well. There is no permanent tooth coming in yet so she may have that gap for a couple years. She's 5 1/2 years old was so excited to "finally" lose a tooth like David. He lost his first tooth on the bottom in April. Jaylin looks older to me with that tooth missing. Love you baby girl!

Camping 2011
We went on our first family camping trip. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. We went with Yai's sister, her family, her husband's brother's family, and their friend's family. We went to Beaver Mountain for the 4th of July weekend. We went on a 10 mile hike over two mountain tops with no trail and my toes got bruised so bad. I didn't have the right kind of shoes for hiking. We took the kids fishing and they did great. Jaylin wasn't afraid of the fish at all and thought it was really squishy. David on the other hand didn't even want to touch it. We roasted marshmallows of course and ate great food, and just had a great time enjoying each others company. Sorry for the picture overload.
The Ningcharoen kids and their cousins all squished in the van to drive up to the start of our 10 mile hike.
Kids all ready for their big hike on Beaver Mountain

Jaylin's first day of Kindergarten
Jaylin is in school!!! She started Kindergarten today and we had a special day. First her teacher Mrs. Mikulecky had given her some confetti to put under her pillow the night before so she could have good dreams before she goes to school. Then Jaylin requested orange rolls and chocolate milk for her special breakfast. Then I took her to Cookie Cutters to get her hair trimmed and styled and her nails done before she goes to school in the afternoon. After she was all prettied up we went to Wal-Mart to buy an outfit for her to wear to school, then we went to McDonald's for lunch and she had a happy meal. Then it was time to go home and change her clothes and head off to her first day of school. I can't believe Jaylin is old enough to go to school!

Giving Buddy away
This summer we gave Buddy away. He was a good dog, house trained and obedient, but he kept chewing the kids toys. I felt like I was losing $10 here and $20 there and I just couldn't take it anymore. We gave him to my friends mom. Her husband had recently passed away and her dog is getting up there so they wanted him for a companion for her. She spoils him rotten. He sleeps on her bed with her and she also cooks dinner for him every day. I'm glad he went to a good home. The kids have adjusted fine to him being gone. They miss him, but they are also happy that their toys don't get ruined anymore.
