Christmas 2012
This year we had our annual Gordon Family Christmas Eve party at my sister Lesley's house. It was so fun to see everyone and the new babies that were born this year in our family. Santa came to the party and gave out presents to the kids which made it extra fun. After the party we came home and guess what? The elves had already been to our house! There were 4 presents in our Christmas tree. Jaylin got a new robe, and the other kids all got new jammies. Christmas morning we made breakfast and then it was present time! Presents took about an hour to open this year because we decided to put codes on the presents like Batman, Shrek, Barbie, etc. We had the kids guess which one they thought was theirs, if they got it right they could open it or they had to search the pile for a certain name and once they found that one they could open it. The kids loved it so I think we will do this every year so Christmas lasts a little longer :)

Camping 2011
We went on our first family camping trip. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. We went with Yai's sister, her family, her husband's brother's family, and their friend's family. We went to Beaver Mountain for the 4th of July weekend. We went on a 10 mile hike over two mountain tops with no trail and my toes got bruised so bad. I didn't have the right kind of shoes for hiking. We took the kids fishing and they did great. Jaylin wasn't afraid of the fish at all and thought it was really squishy. David on the other hand didn't even want to touch it. We roasted marshmallows of course and ate great food, and just had a great time enjoying each others company. Sorry for the picture overload.
The Ningcharoen kids and their cousins all squished in the van to drive up to the start of our 10 mile hike.

Air Show 2011
We went to our first air show out in Wendover. It was pretty cool. We went with Yai's sister and her family. David loved looking at all the planes. Our favorite was the F16 wow was that jet loud and fast! We went to Subway for lunch and when we came back to park the van the F16 flew right over us, it was pretty low down and we had to hurry to cover our ears and hold on the car at the same time. It shook the van so much I thought the windows would explode. Pretty sweet. Of course we hurried and parked and ran back into the show to see some of the cool things this jet could do. After that David decided he wants to fly jets when he grows up, so maybe the Air Force will have a new recruit in about 14 years. I got totally fried. No one else got sunburned, just me. It was so bad that after we got home I sent Yai to Wal-Mart to buy a big bottle of Aloe Vera, which was a life saver. It definately was a fun day with family.

Asians on the Farm
We went to the Dudley's farm and rode their horses. It was our Asians on the farm day. Yai has never ridden a horse before and we also had our foreign exchange student Shinichi from Japan with us. Yai's sister and her family from St. George came up and our neighbors the Shums came as well. It was a lot of fun riding the horses. I think everyone had a great time!!

Japanese Exchange Student
This past summer we had a Japanese exchange student stay with us for 2 weeks. It was a lot of fun and I think Avery fell in love with Shinichi. She followed him everywhere. We took him to the Grand Canyon and down to St. George. We also took him to 7 Peaks Water Park and all around Salt Lake City. Shinichi was a great fit for our family and we miss him a lot. We did get him to start a facebook so we can keep in contact with him!
