Christmas 2009!!!

We had a lot going on this Christmas Season. Jaylin's pre-school had a couple performances of the Christmas Story. Jaylin was the angel and was so cute. The kids performed for some Seniors and also for their families. They all did a great job. David helped out and was a shepard. We went swimming with some friends at a hotel in Salt Lake that had a water slide. That was pretty eventful. Jaylin thought she could swim without a life jacket and jumped right in when none of us was looking, thank goodness a young life guard was paying attention and jumped in to help her swim to the side. David's kindergarten class had a Christmas program for their families. It was cute, they sang songs and read their "Dear Santa" letters. My side of the family gets together every Christmas Eve and we have a buffet for dinner, read the Christmas story from the Bible, sing Christmas songs, and Santa comes with a present for the young grand kids. Then of course there is Christmas day where we stay home in our new Christmas jammies, play with our new toys, watch movies, and eat all day! Here a pictures of our festivities ;)

Jaylin in her pre-school play for the Seniors. Isn't she such a cute little angel?!

Thanksgiving Week

I know it always takes me forever to get around to posting. So this is our trip to St. George for Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun. We stayed at my sister in-laws house and the kids had a blast playing with their cousins. We went bowling, the kids went to the park and flew airplanes and helicopters with their uncle, we went to the movies a few times. We saw Old Dogs, New Moon, and 2012. I went out to lunch with my girl friends, went on a date with my awesome hubby and when we got home a couple of my friends were there to surprise me for my 30th birthday. they even put 30 candles on the cake! So here a some pictures of our trip.

First Day of School

David started Kindergarten this year. He was so excited to finally go to school. He is in the afternoon kindergarten class. His teacher is Mrs. Mikulecky. So here are pictures of the BIG Day!

David wanted to have chocolate milk, pancakes, and a strawberry studel for breakfast to start his big day :)

Here is my Big Boy the morning of his first day of school.

Mrs. Mikulecky gave David some confetti to put under his pillow the night before school started to help him sleep good and be ready for school.

He also got a new bike and some other presents. I can't believe I have a 5 year old already. Where does the time go? Love you Bug!!!
